Look at this language from a letter from a legislator to the Governor - this is what our Legislature has been reduced to "grovelling" and "imploring" the governor to allow citizens to live.
There is literally NOTHING ELSE they can do. They must simply beg her highness the Lady of the 4 Lakes and Empress of the Straits of Mackinac for leave to live. It's revolting --- or at least that's what the peasants should consider doing.
This disparity led to an Aug. 5 letter sent to Whitmer by state Rep. Tristan Cole, R-Mancelona, and Rep. Sue Allor, R-Wolverine, on behalf of Alcona and Oscoda counties' desire to move to Phase 5.
“As the elected representatives for these areas in the Michigan Legislature, we implore you to consider the grave damage that may be done if adjustments to these restrictions are not made when the specific circumstances and reported data reveal an objectively lower risk for these areas," the letter said.

Alcona County, currently in Region 4, requested a change to Region 6, which is in Phase 5 with much fewer restrictions.
